The Montana High Divide Trail System when completed will include hundreds of miles of quiet single track trails including more than 200 miles of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail near Butte, Helena and Lincoln.
There will be an extensive network of "Front Country" foothill trails for bikers, hikers and horse back riders that will connect to the Continental Divide trail system.
Horse back riders will also enjoy hundreds of miles of mountain pack trails perfect for exploring the vast Montana wilderness.
Hunters will enjoy unlimited backcountry and wilderness, where grizzly bears, mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elk, lynx and many other species of animals still thrive.
The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail is the nation’s longest quiet mountain trail and will stretch more than 3,000 miles along the beautiful and rugged Rocky Mountains.
