The Montana Military Museum in Helena Montana

This exquisite museum receives, collects, stores, interprets and exhibits federal and state  military artifacts that symbolizes the rich heritage of Montana.  Managed by the Montana National Guard, this collection was originally based on the history of the Guard since its inception in 1866.  However due to strong enthusiasm and interest the museum has expanded its scope to include the military history starting with the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1805 through to present day. and the global War on terror.

The museum is located just west of Helena at the Montana National Guard Training Center on historic Fort Williams Henry Harrison
