Hosted by the Lewis & Clark County Water Quality Protection District the Lake Helena Watershed Festival is a family friendly event. The Helena festival aims to promote watershed awareness with interactive, hands-on activities, demonstrations, exhibits, presentations and tours.
Water pollution can affect the use of water for drinking, household, recreation, fishing transportation and commerce. The festival will begin at 10 am and go till 3pm. There will be an urban bird walk at the County Fairground. There will also be a student art display, an edible aquifer, field trips, bug exhibits and much more.
The Lake Helena Watershed Festival is possible by a grant from the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and the Lewis and Clark Conservation District.
