Montana Rail Link
The Montana Rail Link is a regional railroad serving more than 100 stations and more than 900 miles of track in the states of Montana, Idaho and Washington state. More than 1,000 people work for the Montana Rail Link helping to keep more than 2,000 freight cars and 176 locomotives moving.
Montana Rail Link connects the Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway, the Union Pacific Railroad and others historic railroads and is based out of Missoula, Montana.
Montana has relied on train service for more than a century and the Montana Rail Link was originally part of the Northern Pacific Railway built in 1883. t
