The Great Divide Orchid Society to hold its flagship event this month.
The Orchid Show and Sale will be held at Capital Hill Mall in Helena and everyone is encouraged to enter their blooming orchids. Ribbons and awards will be given by American Orchid Society judges to the winners of each category. Orchid art will also be judged. Hundreds of beautiful and unique orchids will be on display. There will also be a raffle and vendors will be selling live orchids all weekend.
Whether you are an experienced orchid grower or just a beginner ready to try your hand at growing these exotic beauties, the Great Divide Orchid Show and Sale is a great place to glean knowledge. Montana can be a very challenging place to grow these lovely, delicate blooms and this gathering helps growers of all abilities. The Great Divide Orchid Society $20 membership also includes unlimited usage of the extensive library of books and periodicals concerning orchid that can be grown in Montana.
