Toston Dam Recreation Site
Come for the recreation, stay for the wonderful close community
This incredible recreation area is located on the Missouri River right in between Helena and Three Forks in the southwestern corner of Montana. Toston Dam Site encompasses over five acres of scenic beauty and lies at an elevation of 4,000 feet. This area is renown for unparallaled fishing but also offers boating, picnicking, rafting, camping, wildlife viewing, kayaking and bird watching.
Close by is the town of Toston where residents enjoy beautiful and diverse country that is perfect for outstanding recreational activities like horse back riding, hunting and snowmobiling. Just across from the exit to this small community of Toston, is the road leading to the fishable sections of Crow Creek. In the summer 7-10 inch Rainbows and Brookies can be landed.
The Toston Bridge figures prominently in the community and dominates the Toston business district. It is a wonderful, historical structure that figured heavily in the agricultural development of the upper Missouri river valley.
