Explore the streets of Helena Montana on the back of an historic train.  The Last Chance Train Tour takes you through the streets of Montana’s capital city and tells you about its colorful past.  The tour tells about Helena’s beginnings with the discovery of gold in Last Chance Creek by four men from Georgia through to the rumors and gossip of present day.  Sit back, relax and enjoy these wonderful stories. The railroad begins outside the Historical  museum at the corner of 6th and Roberts Street.  Travel through residential areas of town to view historic homes of famous Montanans, the State Capitol, St. Helena Cathedral, an exact replica of a spectacular European church, take a peek at Last Chance Gulch, and much, much more! The tour last an hour and is a great way to get your bearings, especially if you are new to town.
