Kindrick Legion Field

Helena's favorite pastime.

The Kindrick Legion Field in Helena Montana is a minor league field that was built in 1932.  It has been the home to the Helena Phillies from 1978-83, the Gold Sox from 1984-86, and today the Brewers and the Pioneer League.  It is located in Memorial Park on Warren Street, tucked way behind the industrial section of the town. The stadium holds 1,700 enthusiastic fans and hosts the great tradition of the Keith Sell Tournament.

The ballpark which has remained the local American Baseball legion’s team home field for over 70 years.  It has had many name changes and renovations throughout the years.  The field has been the site of thousands of semi-pro city and Copper Leagues games.

Much of the seating is in the partially-covered main grandstand, which features theater-style seats and drink holders. Down the first-base line there is a set of bleachers and paralleling the third-base line there is a party deck. A hot tub and additional bleachers are above the dugout.

This is a wonderful place to catch an exciting game, enjoy a hot dog and entertainment by the Brewers mascots; Lewis the Lion and Clark the Cougar.
