Home to over eleven elementary schools Helena offers many choices to parents looking for just the right school for their children.

Education is important to the people of Helena, Montana and with more than eleven public elementary schools as well as Montessori classrooms,  gifted and talented services and a special education preschool it is easy to see that they put children first. Each school has its own mission statement but the knowledgeable and qualified administrators and teachers work cooperatively to meet the state’s standards and the city’s School Board’s expectations.
Two of these  schools, Rossiter and Jefferson School offer before school childcare and many schools including Rossiter, Jefferson, Hawthorne, Kessler, Broadwater and Four Georgians offer after school childcare. Kinder Care and Enrichment programs are also available.
